Fifty p.c of these firms with greater than the median cash readily available thought it was extraordinarily probably that they’d be open at the end of the year. Thirty-one percent of corporations with less money available, relative to the median, thought that they might be open at the end of the year. One interpretation of these findings is that liquidity generated confidence within the capacity to survive this disaster. Among corporations with no less than 20 workers, 71{635a3d64a8f46756d57603a1a8df619be2cbb6380d1ebb266f2aafa404016281} expressed that they had been both very probably or extremely more probably to survive, which may indicate higher entry to outdoors assets regardless of having the next expense base. To get a sense of the match, we in contrast our estimated monthly payroll bills in our sample with one-twelfth of annual expenses within the US Census.
